Thomas J. Dwyer Jr. (a.k.a. “Jr.”) has been a partner at Thomas J. Dwyer & Associates since 2009. Jr. received his Bachelor of Business in Accounting from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. He obtained his CPA license while working in the commercial tax department at Crowe, Chizek and Company in Oak Brook, Illinois, then completed his law degree at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois.

Jr. has been a practicing tax accountant since 2000, a practicing tax attorney since 2008, and the managing member since 2018. His practice focuses includes all of the Firm’s practices areas including the preparation of tax returns, estate planning, tax planning, estates and trusts administration, probate representation, assisting with problematic IRS and Illinois Department of Revenue matters, creation of business entities, assisting with purchase and sale of businesses, and the drafting of various business agreements. 

Jr. is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and served as Trustee for the Village of River Forest from April 2013 – April 2017. 

Jr. resides in River Forest, Illinois with his wife Amy Dwyer (Aurit) and three children. In his free time, he spends time with his family, plays golf, and enjoys being active!”
