Tom Herbstritt has been affiliated with Thomas J. Dwyer & Associates since January of 2006, concentrating on tax preparation. After graduation from the University of Notre Dame, Tom began his career with the accounting firm of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell, & Co (now KPMG), focusing on auditing and consulting primarily in the fields of transportation and health care. Prior to joining the firm of Thomas J. Dwyer & Associates, Tom was also a member of the Chicago Board of Trade, where he traded for his own account and as a broker. Following that, he was Chief Financial Officer for a proprietary options trading firm.

Tom lives with his wife, Mary, and a menagerie including Marni, Finley, Mylo, and Tess in Elkhorn, WI. He is on the Board of the Kettle Moraine Land Trust, serving as Treasurer. His hobbies include helping his wife with the garden.
