Ryan E. Knoppe joined Thomas J. Dwyer & Associates’ Estate Planning and Estate and Trust Administration team in June 2023. He brings with him nine years of experience supporting a boutique litigation practice focusing on real estate transaction and commercial contract disputes. 

Ryan received his undergraduate degree in Finance from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois, while working at a futures brokerage and investment advisory firm at the Chicago Board of Trade. Before joining the legal services community, Ryan was also a Staff Accountant, where in addition to general ledger work, he oversaw insurance, payment processing, and corporate reporting compliance, and supported operations leaders with production, quality, and incentive tracking insights.

Ryan has been building his own custom gaming computers since the age of 11, and when he’s not trying to catch up to his young daughter’s new bicycle, he enjoys following global financial markets, letting better golfers play through, and extending a 25-year family tradition of log cabin camping in the Porcupine Mountains of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
