Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Joanna spent over 20 years in both higher ed and private industry. Her earliest years were in grant accounting and program management at Northern Illinois University, followed by 8 years of teaching Strategic Management at Elmhurst University. Since then, she’s worked with three start-ups, managing accounting, finance, HR and strategy. She earned her Bachelor’s in History from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, and an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Strategic Implementation from Northern Illinois University.

Joanna, along with her husband and three kids, have lived in Downers Grove since 2000. Her favorite times are spent with her large family, at events with friends, in the back yard with her garden, or curled up with a crossword puzzle.
