Ashley Gedvilas is an attorney who joined Thomas J. Dwyer & Associates in February 2024 to assist in the firm’s estate planning work. Ashley earned her undergraduate degree from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts and her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2012.

Ashley began her career working in research at Harvard Medical School and Northwestern University. While attending law school, she worked for Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s Office of General Counsel and for the law firm Hanley, Flight, & Zimmerman. After law school she worked as a Patent Coordinator for the University of Illinois Chicago’s Office of Technology Management and most recently as a contractor for the United States Patent and Trademark Office. After taking some time off to raise young children, she re-entered the law field with an interest in estate planning.

Ashley lives in Oak Park, Illinois with her husband, Brian, and her four children. In her free time you can find her spending time with family, gardening, hiking, listening to live music, or wandering around museums.
